Congratulations to 3 of our Boca Warrior Alumni. These three guys put together great seasons for their respective High School Teams, and were rewarded with All-County recognition.
These young men run as Boca Warriors during their H.S. off-seasons, and as often during the season as their H.S. running schedules allow.
All-County 1st Team
Hunter Morgan
Hunter was selected to the Sun Sentinel's Broward County Cross Country First Team -- for the third year in a row. Plus for the first time, he got the nod from the Miami Herald too!
Hunter's highlights include: 1st at Districts, 2nd at Regions, and finished 20th at Class 1A state meet; ran a new 5K PR of 16:13.00 at the New World Fall Spectacular; won Spanish River Invitational.
All-County Honorable Mentions
Both Gio and Scott made Honorable Mention, as Freshmen, for the Sun Sentinel's Palm Beach County Cross Country Team. These guys are 2 of only 4 Freshmen, in the County, selected to the All-County Team.
Giovanni Garcia
Gio's Highlights include: 11th at Districts, 14th at Regions, and a new 5K PR at States 17:49:30 (came in 80th out of 231). Gio followed that up less than 2 weeks later with an even better 5K time of 17:44:59 at the flrunners.com XC PR Festival On The Track.
Scott Sanok
Scott's Highlights include: 5th Place at Districts (1st among Freshmen), 10th Place at Regions (1st among Freshmen), new 5K PR at States 17:49:30 (came in 80th out of 231).
