Boca Warriors showed up big time this past Saturday at The Indian River Elite Invitational in Sebastian, FL
In addition to a number of Warriors getting new Personal Records, there was an elite performance & 2 ultra elite All-American like performances yesterday.
Christian Blanco, age 10, ran a 5:15.26 1500 meters (besting his previous time of 5:24.65). His time would have been 12th in the Nation at the last full Junior Olympics in 2019.
Erik Moss, age 11, ran a 10:44.87 3,000 meters (besting his previous time of 10:56.0)
His time would have been 7th in the Nation at the last full Junior Olympics in 2019.
This amazing 5th grade superstar qualified for the Middle School State Meet by winning the 3k in 10:44.87 beating the Middle School boys qualifying standard of 10:50.00 Erik Moss becomes the 2nd Warrior 5th grader & our 9th qualifier heading to States at the IMG Academy next month. Way to go Erik!
Willie Mckenny, age 9, ran a 5:12.21 1500 meters (besting his previous time of 5:23.8) Willie would have placed 3rd in the Nation at the last full Junior Olympics in 2019.
