A shout out to trusting the process

There are many stories at Regions, but this one is about perseverance and trusting the process. It also represents the story of many, if not all, of our athletes who see success both on and off the field, and the journey they take as a Boca Warrior.

Ten year old, 4th grader Brayden joined the Warriors in December of 2023. Brayden wasn't athletic, and displayed awkward body movements. His aerobic conditioning was non-existent & it seemed like he didn't like the process of getting into shape. He had one thing going for him though. Parents who consistently brought him to practices & never let him give up.

In his first 1500 race in January he ran a 6:52 placing 12th. February 6:10, March 5:56, April 5:50, May 5:37, finally at this Qualifier in June, he was the Regional Champion running it in 5:26. Hard work & perseverance pays off.
